Personally, I think the best thing to do with pinterest is to spend it on things that actually matter. There are a lot of social media sites out there, and lots of them are filled with stuff that is interesting and useful to people. For example, if you go to the top of each page of pinterest and look for something like “foodie” or “sports,” that’s probably what you’re looking for.
I think if you are on pinterest, you can spend 15-20 minutes trying to discover which picture of a food, car, or sports player you really like. There are so many interesting pictures to choose from on pinterest. That means you can probably find what you want within a matter of minutes.
The trick is to not be so focused on the thing on the page, but to focus on what you want to say. For example, when I’m looking for my phone, I don’t know what I’m going to use it for, but I know I want to use it to take pictures of cute cats. If I’m looking for a sports team or an interesting food (or anything that will take pictures) I can just focus on what I want to say.
