dan callis is a digital storyteller who is known for her work in the realm of “storytelling” and “social media.” She has a BFA in Fine Arts from the College of the Art Institute of Chicago, a Master’s in Art History from the University of Iowa, and a PhD in the Interactive Arts from the University of Iowa, and is a licensed Artist in Residence at the Iowa Arts Center.
She’s been a creative in the digital realm since the early 90s, but mostly she’s been known to dabble in film, writing, music, and digital storytelling.
She’s a true believer in writing and storytelling and can’t wait to get going.
Dan has been a writer for more than a decade. Her first book was titled “The Book of My Life,” which she has since adapted into her second book. She’s written a book for young people called “The Book of My Loves,” which was a New York Times bestseller in 2013. Her book “How to Be Human” was published last month by Doubleday.
Dan has a pretty impressive resume. She started out as a writer for children, but was hired by MTV to do storyboard work. She then published her first book, The Book of My Life, in 2012. The Book of My Loves was a New York Times bestseller in 2013, and it is now available in paperback, eBook, and audiobook. The Book of My Loves was selected as a National Reading List Book for Young Adults in the summer of 2014.
Dan is also the co-creator of the online community The Bookish.com, which has over 200,000 members. She is also the author of the children’s books The Book of the Dead and The Book of My Life.
She is also the author of the new book The Book of My Loves and the memoir I’m Still Here. Her upcoming books are The Book of My Loves and The Book of My Loves (a sequel) and The Book of My Loves: A True Story.
