We can change categories from year to year based on whether we are currently looking for a new job, a new apartment, or even a new house.
This feature is really useful for those who are constantly updating their company’s website. Instead of having to search through the web to find out the most recent postings, you can take a page from the olden days and have your site listed in the most-visited category. This is especially handy if you have any type of product that’s been selling well in certain categories, but is underperforming in other areas.
The main goal of this feature is to help you set the tone. If you are looking for a new job, a new apartment, or even a new house, you will be more inclined to click the links to your new website’s page. To take a closer look at some of the most-visited and most-frequited areas of your site, you can click on one of the links and see if it’s in the top-right corner.
This is something that Google My Business has been doing for a while now, but the best part is that it allows you to change your primary category from one of “jobs” to some other category. I have a few sites that have been doing this for quite a while now and they are a huge pain to maintain. The biggest problem is that Google has no way to keep track of categories that you’ve used before.
They do have a way to keep track though. Google My Business has a “My Business” tab that you can access from the top of your site. It allows you to change your primary category by selecting the tab and using the “change category” button (which is a little less intuitive than the menu-button).
To change the primary category of your site you can go to your site in the Google My Business section of the Google search results and select the category you wish to change. If you have a lot of sites with the same name and only one of them has a primary category, you can just change it for all your sites. You can also change categories individually to change how they are sorted when you search.
I can definitely see how that would be a lot easier than the manual, or at least what I imagine would be the manual.
The trick is to be careful when selecting a primary category because most of the time it will be the “default” for any site. On the other hand, if you have a lot of sites with the same primary category, you could always have them all set to be sorted by something else. One of these days I really want to try it myself and see the results.
This is the easiest way to change the primary category when you search. Here’s the trick: Go through the main categories listed in the sidebar, and in each category click on the primary category that you want to change, click on the secondary category that you want to change, and then type in the name of the secondary category. This will change the name of your primary category in the sidebar.
