As our time loop progresses, we learn that the girlfriend has been killed, and no one knows why. The only clue is a message in the sky which says that the girlfriend is dead, and there is only one person who knows why she died.

I think that Deathloop is a pretty nice name for it. When someone like Visions or Visions girlfriend talks about it they sound like they’re having a really great time, but if you didn’t know, you’d probably have trouble believing their story.
