I recently spoke to a customer who was searching for an extension agent. With a few clicks of their mouse they got all the information they needed and the call was scheduled for the next morning.
So I’m not sure how all this is going to work, but I did notice a major flaw with the way Google has decided to organize their contact lists. It seems like there is now a separate list for people who search for a specific term and then those people can then use search results to find information about that term. It seems as though this is designed to be a more seamless experience.
I think it’s a good idea, but I also think it’s a bad idea. The problem is that if a customer has a specific question and then tries to look for information on that specific topic, they will be disappointed when the information they were expecting isn’t there. They may well be able to use the search results to find the answer anyway, but their question is not a “real” question.
I think what makes this idea even worse is that it could be abused. If two customers are searching for the same term (and the two searches have different results) then they can send a message back and forth to each other in an attempt to get useful information.
I’ve heard that this is a problem, but if the customer is just looking for information they may just as well be searching for a book.
The reason I asked this is because I don’t want the customer to find out what I’m searching for. I’ve been through this and it is totally worth it, but it’s not as simple as searching for information. The customer also needs to have the information they want, like the answer to a question. I believe there is a market for this type of information, but I think there is also the possibility of finding the answer to that question.
Call extensions are the phone numbers where you can leave a message for someone. The caller can either leave a voice or text message with the information they need to call you, or they can simply listen to the extension and make their choice. It is generally considered a more personal way of contacting your customer.
In the UK, it is illegal for callers to listen to non-voicemail extensions. In the US, there is no law against calling without a voice message.
This is the reason I’m really not sure why the US still allows the use of non-voicemail extensions. I think it’s because we all know that those people will be calling you and leaving voice messages. I don’t know enough about US law to comment on it.
If you call without an extension, you are breaking the law, which could result in jail time. While the law clearly states that the person on the other end of the call has the right to listen to your message, it does not say who this person is.
